GGS Maintenance Ltd. Emergency Call Out Contract

We will attend the Property(s) stated in this plan following an event included under this plan, up to a maximum of two call-outs within twelve months of this plan commencing.
Please carefully review the services we will deliver; the plan terms and conditions and obligations you must comply with to ensure the plan services are not restricted.
The 2 call out plan covers the following events and services: –
- Annual Gas Safety inspection & Certificate for Landlords (provided the inspection is passed)
- Residential Boiler Service for Homeowners [DE1]
- Emergency Central heating system repairs, excluding unrepairable boilers
- Emergency Plumbing repairs
- Emergency Electrical repairs
- Boiler breakdowns
- Heating system breakdowns
- Water leaks from internal pipes and drains
- Internal burst pipes
- Blocked sinks and toilets
- Electrical faults and tripped circuits/breakers
- Internal Lighting circuits excluding replacement bulbs
- Leaking domestic appliances (excluding any repairs to the appliance)
- Key and lock support excluding replacement locks and keys
- Boarding up of broken windows and doors
- Auto gates and external doors
- Access control and entry phones
- Alarms system malfunctions
- Garage door mechanisms
- Roof leaks
Repairs and Service Coverage: –
We will endeavour to carry out emergency repairs during call out. If this is deemed not possible, we will connect you to a recommended contractor from our approved network to complete repairs. Should you wish to proceed, you will need to agree scope, cost and payment terms in advance of works commencing.
We will not be responsible for the cost of materials following a callout, other than the cost of incidental materials required to complete an emergency repair. In the event we can complete the repairs but require additional time &/or materials, we will gain your consent to and agree costs that you will be responsible in advance of repairs commencing.
All time and material costs incurred with your consent will be payable within 5 working days from the point of invoice.
In instances where a boiler is not suitable for repair, we may recommend a boiler replacement and installation at your own cost.
Unresolved Remedial Works: –
Outstanding remedial works and events, arising as a result of the outstanding works listed in Appendix A of this plan, will not be included in the plan until we receive in writing confirmation that works have been completed.
In the event we are called out and remedial works have not been completed, we will gain your consent to complete repairs at cost to you.
Contract Duration and Termination: –
This contract is effective for a one-year period, commencing from the date stated in this plan.
Should you choose to end the contract within the one-year term, the remaining balance of the contract
becomes due and payable. An invoice for this balance will be issued, and the payment will be due within 5 working days of the plan ending.
Contract Termination After One Years:-
Should you wish to end the contract after the initial one-year period, you must provide 30 days’ notice in writing. Settlement of all outstanding amounts due to us must be made within the notice period.
Limits of Liability: –
We and any contractor appointed by us shall not be held responsible for any cosmetic damage or building remediation resulting in repairs carried out.
We shall not be responsible for any consequential loss whatsoever in connection with works or repairs that are carried out by us or by a contractor appointed or recommended by us.
Our legal liability resulting from any dispute under this agreement shall not exceed £2,000,000 anyone dispute or series of disputes.
Each of the Parties submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of England and Wales to settle any dispute which may arise out of or in connection with this agreement in return for payment of this plan we agree to provide the services set out in this plan subject to you agreeing to the terms, conditions and limitations contained in the plan.
